As a local developer we were the first to recognise the potential of the area in and around Salford Quays, long before it became fashionable with other more established developers and the idea of the BBC's relocation was mooted. |

Over the last seven years, working in partnership with Salford City Council, we have been the driving forces behind a range of improvements within Ordsall. These include the construction of over 400 new homes for first-time buyers, a £6.5m state-of-the-art primary school and significant investment in green spaces.
In May 2006 we were appointed by the Council as the lead developer for the regeneration of the whole of Ordsall, an area totalling 180 acres.
The main focus of our work is not the vast demolition of houses and displacement of people that is happening elsewhere in the UK but to add and improve what is already in existence.
At the same time, we are working with the Council to ensure key groups are given the opportunity to live in Ordsall and benefit from its success. First-time buyers, local residents, key workers and students from Salford University have been designated as priority groups and are offered the opportunity to purchase a new home in advance of any launch to the open market.
The result has been a huge boost to the local economy as we have helped to bring economically active people into an area they would not necessarily have considered to be an option to live in. This is evidenced in a survey by More Than insurance company which placed Ordsall seventeenth in the country’s top 35 property hotspots.
